Welcome to 2 Hand Holdem! Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before downloading, installing, or playing the 2 Hand Holdem iOS application ("App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Overview
This App is developed and operated by Wayne "D22-soso" Chiang ("Operator," "we," "us," or "our").
- Free-to-Play Social Casino: 2 Hand Holdem is a social casino app intended solely for entertainment and amusement purposes.
- No Real-Money Gambling: The App does not offer real-money gambling, nor does it offer an opportunity to win real money, physical prizes, or anything of real-world value.
- Virtual Currency: In-app chips are a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use digital entertainment tokens. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed, refunded, cashed out, or exchanged for real currency.
- Audience: This game is intended for an adult audience (17+) for amusement purposes only. 2 Hand Hold'em does not offer real-money gambling or an opportunity to win real money or physical prizes.
2. Intellectual Property, Trademarks & Patent Protection
The mechanics, design, software, graphics, branding, and proprietary gameplay of 2 Hand Holdem are protected under intellectual property, trademark, and patent laws.
Trademark Notice
The following marks, logos, slogans, and game names are proprietary trademarks owned by Wayne "D22-soso" Chiang:

- Nessie 9™
- Flounder 4™
- Flop 888™
Unauthorized use of these terms, including as branding, game modes, side bets, or marketing materials, without express written permission is strictly prohibited.
Patent Notice
The game mechanics, formatting, and structural designs created by Wayne "D22-soso" Chiang are strictly protected by United States Patent Law, including:
- U.S. Patent No. 11,117,045
- U.S. Patent No. 11,731,032
- U.S. Patent No. 12,005,342
Notice: Reverse engineering, copying, modifying, reproducing, licensing, or creating derivative works based on the game mechanics, trademarked features, code, or rules of 2 Hand Holdem without express written consent from Wayne Chiang is strictly prohibited and constitutes intellectual property infringement.
3. Official Rules of Play
By playing 2 Hand Holdem, you agree to abide by the official game rules:
- ANTE: The player must place 1 bet of equal value into each of the two "ANTE" betting circles to initiate the hand.
- DEAL: The player receives 4 hole cards face down. 3 community cards ("the flop") are dealt face up on the table. The dealer receives 3 hole cards face down.
- ARRANGE: The player arranges their 4 hole cards into 2 separate Hold'em hands containing 2 cards each. The player places 2 cards face down in the "Hand 1" box and the remaining 2 cards face down in the "Hand 2" box.
- RAISE: The player evaluates their positions and chooses to either Check (wagering no additional chips) or Raise 2x on each hand individually by placing additional chips equal to twice the Blind amount into the corresponding "Raise 2x" circle.
- SHOWDOWN: The 4th ("turn") and 5th ("river") community cards are dealt face up on the table. The dealer reveals their 3 hole cards and selects at most 2 of those 3 hole cards (combined with the 5 community cards) to form the dealer's single best 5-card poker hand. The dealer's hand is evaluated individually against Hand 1 (using the player's 2 Hand 1 cards + the board) and Hand 2 (using the player's 2 Hand 2 cards + the board). Winning bets are awarded based on traditional poker hand rankings against the dealer's hand.
4. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
To maintain a fair, fun, and competitive environment, you agree not to:
- Use unauthorized cheats, bots, automation scripts, hacks, or exploits.
- Transfer, sell, trade, or buy accounts or Virtual Items for real-world currency outside of authorized App Store channels.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, trademarked concepts, or patent-protected mechanics from the App.
- Harass, abuse, or engage in toxic behavior toward other players in community features or chats.
Violations of these conduct rules may result in immediate temporary or permanent suspension of your account without notice or compensation.
5. In-App Purchases & Virtual Items
- Purchases: You may purchase Virtual Items (e.g., chip packs) only through Apple's In-App Purchase system. You cannot route iOS purchases to an external checkout. All transactions are final and managed directly by Apple Inc.
- Non-Refundable: Virtual Items are a limited, revocable, non-transferable license; they are licensed, not sold. They cannot be refunded, cashed out, traded between players, or exchanged for real money except as required by applicable law or Apple's standard store policies.
6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- "As-Is" Service: The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- Practice vs. Real Gambling: Practice or success at social casino gaming does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wayne Chiang shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
